The LRHC-1 is a portable all-weather reactive steel plate target system with an auto-reset feature that is designed to accommodate the use of all high-power rifle calibers up to 50 BMG.
With this target design, the shooter and the spotter or observer get an immediate dual-visual confirmation of an impact being made by not only seeing the target plate itself going down and disappearing from sight, but also by the two red flag indicators that immediately pop up. The flags indicators also give the shooter and the spotter or observer a 3-4 second bonus wind-read before the red flags themselves disappear from sight as the steel plate auto-resets. There is absolutely no guessing as to whether or not a shooter has made a hit on this target system, as is sometimes the case with trying to confirm impacts on other types of steel targets used at varying distances, and which becomes much more challenging at distances of 1000 yards or beyond. It also eliminates the need to call a cease fire in order to go downrange and verify impacts and/or to manually reset steel target plates that are not hanging plates.
The use of any type of (AP) Armor Piercing ammunition, in any caliber, is NOT recommended for use on the LRHC-1 target system.
